The first (unofficial) weekend of fall

The weather this weekend has been fantastic. We’ve had our windows open and our AC off. It is wonderful!

Last night, we went to the Nats v Braves baseball game. The Nats won and we had a great time. The seats were from my company and you can’t beat being 5 rows behind home plate.RFK
We got to eat the standard baseball fare – peanuts, cotton candy, hot dogs. It was yummy and discovering that RFK serves one of my favorite beers was icing on the cake.

Today, I had my consult with Susan Behney at JinxProof for my cherry blossom tattoo. I didn’t take any pictures with me (does that make me a tool?) and instead want Susan to have fun. We discussed cherry blossom clusters with branches, dogwood flowers, a few more bees, and a few moths to add a touch of blues and oranges. She took a few pictures of my back and side for scale and we scheduled my appointment for November 4. It will be a four hour session and we’ve already scheduled a two hour session for November 18. We’ll see how many sittings I can handle.

In about twenty minutes, I’m walking out the door to attend a class at Blue Ridge Arsenal.Stock Gun

We have a 9mm in the house (locked up and we have NO ROUNDS in the house) and I’ve never shot it. I’m taking the class with some friends and am very excited. The range even has Ladies’ Night after the class. Ha ha.
