An Exercise in Futility….

While walking the dogs post-work yesterday, husband told me about a conversation he had with a coworker over lunch. The coworker asked what hubby was buying for me for Christmas. Hubby proclaimed that he had already paid for the “big-@ss tattoo” on my back. The coworker was startled and asked “how big is it?” After husband described the work, her response was (and I paraphrase here) “Your wife is bad@ss! I need to meet her.” Husband agreed with her about me. He has always thought I was a bad@ss. All of that being said, hubby loves to buy gifts so I anticipate having something small to open.

For so many reasons, I love that story. BTW – I’ll have good pictures of the large tattoo next week. One of my coworkers is bringing in her fancy digital camera to do the honors.
