I bought four picture frames in early December from a chain store with a global flair. I needed to return two as they were too small for the pictures. I went today to take care of it.
First off, the store doesn’t allow exchanges – only returns. Secondly, the cashier got upset with me because I didn’t have my debit card with me and she had to give me store credit. I then used said credit for the purchase of two (larger and more expensive) frames. I paid cash for the balance due.
She pretty much threw my receipts at me as she sighed and bid me farewell.
I thought the entire experience could have been handled much better. Don’t get pissy with me because of your tooky store policy. Next time I’ll try to remember my debit card or better yet, I won’t buy my picture frames from your store.
