When I got home from work yesterday, the boys were energetic. They’d gotten into a few things and were ready for their walk. While cleaning up after J-dog took care of his business, I thought I saw pumpkin seeds. I wondered where he had gotten pumpkin and then remembered that we had a butternut squash sitting on the kitchen counter.
When we returned home, I checked the counter. No butternut squash. Based on additional evidence later in the evening, Lucky had some too.
Neither husband nor myself were excited to be woken up at 1:15 AM by J-dog to be taken outside. It sure was cold. Needless to say, they didn’t get a full walk this morning.
Awwwwwwwww – too bad about the squash – it is one of my favorite veggies.
