Hacked

I don’t know what I did, but karma smacked me upside the head twice in just over 14 hours.
After knitting group last night, I got in my car to go home. It wouldn’t start. I’ll spare you the details, but one Arlington County parking ticket, a diagnostic fee from my mechanic, and a towing bill later — they didn’t find anything wrong with my car.

I had a few down minutes at work this morning and decided to check one of my personal email accounts. I had a couple of odd out of office messages from people that I know I had not contacted in a good while. Again, details spared…my account had been hacked and emails sent to everyone in my address book. I quickly deleted the address book contents and changed my password. I want to offer a huge apology for anyone affected by this. Please know that that crap email wasn’t sent by me — rather sent by someone with access to my account.

On the positive side of life, I’ve had a couple of friends reach out to me to offer their assistance with my 101 goals. I’m incredibly blessed to have such wonderful online and real life friends. Y’all rock!
