Because the weather has been (relatively) warm and nice the last few days, I took the opportunity to exit the Metro a couple of stops before the usual this morning.

While I only walked 7 extra blocks, I got to see a part of the city that I don’t usually see in the morning. Different sounds. Different smells. Different people. Doing so will probably cause me to look at things differently throughout the day. Just another reason why I love working downtown.
