Sunset reflexions at Atlanta airport, originally uploaded by Franco Folini.
I flew to visit family on Friday and returned home yesterday. Long story about the craziness of airports during the summer and people with vacation brains, but my airline didn’t put my bag on the same flight I was one. Good thing I live here. The airline said they would deliver it to my house and took my cell number as the best number with which to reach me.Friends picked me up yesterday and we hung out. Burgers were grilled for dinner and once again, I was reminded how thankful I am for her and her husband.
Fast forward to this AM. I’m sound asleep with the alarm set for 6:30 AM since I had not picked the boys up yet. I’m rudely woken up by the house phone ringing with the delivery person telling me that my bag was outside the door. IT WAS 5:00 AM. If I hadn’t been so out of it, I would have been furious. Oh well.
I was glad to have my bag back before I got ready for work.
