I’ve tried to surreptitiously work on the socks for my mother-in-law while at work this week. When I started them back in May, my approach was knitting both at the same time on two circs. That didn’t turn out well and I frogged both and put it away for a while.
A few weeks ago, I realized that mil had been here in April (yes, I wrote April) and that I should at least work to have one sock done for her in the next month or so. I cast on again, but decided to magic loop it. I realized yesterday why you need a circ longer than 16 inches for magic looping.
So I frogged again.
On the other hand, since I rejoined Yarn Pirate I received more of her circs. The cable is extra long and perfect for magic looping. See - I can do it. (Not that you can tell with a dog schnoz in the way)
The boys are being cute this morning. They each took their turn sitting next to me in bed before realizing that I wasn’t going to go back to sleep.

Hubby will be home Sunday. Woohoo!!
