I’ve had several people point out to me that I have a lot going on in my life, it’s only been the last week that I’ve realized that they were right.

As it stands, my kitchen is in an unusable state due to the renovation. Our new fridge and microwave are being delivered today. Our living/dining area is full of the new cabinets and our old appliances. L-dog is home from puppy summer camp and gets to go back on Monday morning. He’s glad to be home and doesn’t like it when we move around too much.
Grad school classes started this past Monday and getting back into the school groove is going to take a bit of work. In my undergraduate days, WebCT was the new thing and my professors were just starting to use it. Now, we’re using Blackboard and both of my classes are online. I don’t know how I feel yet about online classes and am keeping an open mind. Learning Blackboard is lots of fun for me and the class content is interesting.
The day job is still crazy as I’m still supporting my boss and working on our membership software project. Either one is a full time job and I’m currently juggling both. There are days I want to pull my hair out and curse the project. Other days I’m fascinated and wish I’d been on the project at day one.
The part-time job still exists. I am thankful that tax season is over and there are only a few outstanding reports to get out. Things will settle back into the usual three or four hours a month commitment until next March.
Running is going well. I’m not putting the miles in that I feel like I should right now, but I ran five miles last Saturday and I plan to put in four or five today. I have become a regular (again) at my gym’s Wednesday night yoga. I need to start lifting again as I’m having difficulty with upper body strength (or a lack thereof). The upper body strength is probably being affected by the fact that I carry all of my stress between my shoulder blades. This past week, the stress crept into my neck and I’ve spent time each evening with a hot pad on my neck/shoulders. My chiropractor recommend an arnica gel, which has helped, and I’m getting a massage next Saturday.
I can’t promise that I’ll write with any regularity for the next little while, but I’ll try to keep you, my dear reader (all two of you out there), somewhat updated.
Have a wonderful weekend.
