I’ve been carrying around a picture of a famous actress that I saw in a magazine last weekend. I love her new “chic boy cut” and have been thinking of doing the same to my hair.
When I was getting ready for work this morning, I decided today was the day. I made my appointment this morning and by 12:30 PM, I had a new ‘do. Voila! I feel like a new woman.
Now I need to stop myself from dying chunks of it purple or blue…can’t be too trendy…I do work for a conservative firm.
I didn’t want to go to yoga last night.
It wasn’t the yoga part I was dreading, it was the leaving the house part. I finally went (thanks husband for being supportive) and came home feeling so much better. Going to yoga class makes me aware of how unhealthy our lifestyle is. We’re not meant to sit immobile in desk chairs for eight hours a day. I’m not supposed to wear heels to work. My work clothes are restrictive and not comfortable. These things combined mean that more often that not, I’m a ball of stress by the time I leave work.

Now that it is spring, I’m starting to get tattoo obsessed again. My current fascination is with cherry and dogwood flower tattoos. I pulled these images off of Jinx Proof’s site (specifically Susan Behney’s gallery

and from Diving Swallow’s own Marie Wadman.

I am in awe of these incredible women and their work. Once I have a better idea of what I want, I’ll be giving Susan a call…
