DJ with the Post-Party Recap

“Mornin’! I thought I’d update you on the rest of the shin-dig last night. Not long after y’all left, the DJ got going, the place got PACKED, and things were hopping. Nothing too crazy happened, I guess, but there were some pretty funny costumes, and a good time was definitely had by all! And “C” won the award for best costume — I think it was a $50 gift certificate to a liquor store. Bartender James showed up around 10 or 10:30, and was very disappointed that y’all had taken off. And, I assure you, his disappointment had NOTHING to do with the fact that I told him about “tattoo friend”’s costume…
I ended up leaving around 12:30 or so, and the crowd had thinned out a little, although there was still a pretty big group. I feel like crap this morning…not from all the beer (although I did drink a lot), but because my allergies are KILLING me! Stupid weather change…

Thanks for the update. I still think it is funny that you didn’t think I was dressed up last night. Guess biker chick isn’t that far off from how I do look sometimes. Oh well.
I feel like crap today too (allergies as well). I think the cold that has been chasing me for a couple of weeks finally caught up with me. I’ll have SS take pictures of Sunday (tattoo day) and will post them as soon as I can.
Infidelity
Last night, a few of my friends and I were discussing committed relationships and infidelity. Not of the “having an affair” kind, but instead whether or not kissing (& kissing only – nothing else) someone that is not your significant other counts as cheating. For clarification, I’ll kiss my friends’ cheeks during greetings or departures, but there is no romantic or sexual intent. In this case, we were discussing the situation in context of meeting someone in a bar and making a connection. One friend said that the line was crossed when the kiss because an open mouth kiss. The other didn’t see any problems with open mouth kisses as long as they are only kisses.

Personally, I couldn’t seriously imagine kissing anyone other than my husband that way. To me, a kiss is not just a kiss. I guess I watched this movie at an impressionable age.
