An Exercise in Futility….

Husband started packing for his trip today. When our backs were turned, Jake had dug the bottle of shampoo out of the bag and destroyed the zippie that it was in. When we finally noticed, he was laying next to the mess gazing at us with adoring brown eyes. We think he doesn’t want hubby to leave, but it could just be that he wanted attention. Either is a possibility.

I think that maybe he just wanted the ‘poo to be free from the suffocating bag. I also think I’m feeling a bit silly. I’ll blame it on low blood sugar post-workout. Ha ha.

…yesterday when I got home from work.

The boys haven’t gotten quite enough exercise this week. They destroyed the box a light fixture was in, ate the box for a book on tape (and destroyed a few tapes), and chewed the corner of a hardback book.

I cleaned it all up (save a few peanuts) before husband got home.

A quick setup before we get to the visual aids…I’ve done some reorganizing lately with husband out of town. As a result, some of my doo-dads from childhood were sitting out. Jake discovered the stuffed miniature dolls of a couple of characters from a popular educational children’s show. This is what I captured last night. Enjoy!
