My Trip in Pictures (and a few words)
Taking dogs to boarding on Friday afternoon:

Quality pool time on Saturday:

Family cookout on Sunday:

Quality time spent sock knitting:

Wednesday surprise on my doorstep:

While I don’t have pictures of everything, I did get to visit my parents, extended maternal family, nephew, niece, s-i-l, m-i-l, high school best friend and her husband, college roommate, and another friend from high school. I was ready to come home and enjoyed opening the packages upon my arrival. I’ve resumed control of the command center and the dogs are resting (read: napping) - as I will be in just a few minutes. I need to rest so that I can be “on” for the concert tonight.
Happy Belated Thanksgiving
I went off and left town on Wednesday without properly preparing the blog for my absence.

Now that we’re done with that. I had a fantastic couple of days down in Georgia. Lots of time spent visiting with family. Lots of quality sleep. I even got back early enough so that I could pick up the boys from their vacay. As I type, they’re both laying in bed, snoring. It is so cute.
Husband is coming back to town two weeks from today and I’m headed to New York next weekend. I’ll try to post some quality stories and such in the next couple of weeks. I realized that my post quality has fallen off, but I’ve been a busy single mom.

While this isn’t a picture of my commute, I didn’t think to take one of my own. My twelve mile commute to work took 50 minutes this morning. It’s Tuesday. Nothing special. No rain. What’s the deal?!
In other news, husband had a great time in Atlanta and we had Five Guys for dinner last night. The boys were super excited to see him and so was I. We watched some quality TV last night and laughed a lot.
Today at work, nothing too exciting happened. I’m getting back into the swing of wearing suits (and pantyhose) to work. Not fun, but certainly easy.
