“What’s going on in your life?”
“Not a whole lot.”

This exchange has occurred frequently between myself and others. It’s not true. There is a whole lot going on in my life (largely good things); I just don’t want to talk about it. This is unusual for me. I can be quite the talker when you get me going. Maybe the seasonal change has affected my mood and I’m feeling awfully introspective.

In other news, I have a full weekend planned. Husband is headed to the ATL for a long weekend to see family and friends. I’ll be watching football, going to the Nats game on Sunday, attending a coworker’s party, and hanging out with the boys and my new movie star boyfriend tonight. Children of Men has been waiting for me to watch it for some time now.

Husband came home yesterday. Woo-hoo. The boys (and I) were very excited. We tried a new local restaurant for dinner (yeah delivery) and it passed our standards. In addition to pizza and Chinese food, we now have an Italian delivery option. It was quite yummy. The best part was that I got have tiramisu for breakfast today. I was too full to eat it last night.
Now it is time for more random pictures of the dogs. These were taken on Labor Day at my friend’s house. Enjoy!

We have a watercolor print above our tee-vee that includes this part of Broad Street in Athens, Georgia. The back of the print is signed by my former coworkers from when we lived there post-graduation. Despite living in Virginia for four years, this place is where my heart lives.
