The opportunity presented itself last week for me to take a last minute trip to Orlando for a few days. I’m leaving about lunch time today and will be back later in the week. Enjoy your week. I’ll have some major life updates when we reconvene.
Which group are you a part of?
My aunt and I’ve had many conversation over the last year about working in the business world. One thing she said that stuck out to me is that 90% of workers care more about the other people and their work environment than their duties and that 10% of workers care about the job and could work in (almost) any environment.
My aunt is part of the 10%. I’m part of the 90%.

I woke up this morning feeling awful. I won’t go into details, but let’s just say I’ve spent most of the day in bed in my pajamas and woke up a few minutes ago from a three hour nap. The fever broke and I feel better than I’ve felt all day.
On the job front, we’ve had some interesting developments. I’m still doing some work for the old company, but have been presented with an odd opportunity.
On the knitting front, I’ve made headway on Dad’s helmet liner (I’m about 5 rows from finishing it up) and the footlets are done. I haven’t woven in any of the ends, but they were fun to knit and gave me enough confidence to start a sock. Top down versus the toe up from the fall, but a sock nonetheless.
