At the wedding this weekend, I met my friend’s friends and had the chance to chat with them. After the usual how do you know the bride/groom, what do you do for a living questions, we delved into the tell me about yourself area. My answer (these days) is as follows:
I knit
I have two (large) dogs
I drink bourbon NEAT
I smoke cigars

This collection of facts about me seems to surprise most people I meet. One of the guys this weekend said that he didn’t quite know what to think about a girl that drank harder liquor than he did. I took that as a huge complement whether he meant it as such or not.
