Now that I have experience (albeit just a little bit) with a spinning wheel, spinning on a spindle is frustrating. I spun for about 90 minutes last night and for half an hour this morning and all I could think of was that my production would be so much more on a wheel…

I know I still need to take pictures of my purchases from Rhinebeck. I’ve not wanted to pull out the camera yet, but will try to do so tomorrow.

Knitting group meets this afternoon and I’ll rush home to watch the rest of the Georgia game with husband. Kickoff is at 3:00 PM and we’re going to a friend’s party tonight.

Knitting on a Deadline

I am attending a baby shower in a few weeks for a girl that belongs to the crochet group. I feel the need to knit her a shower present, but know that I do not do well knitting on deadline. I have also looked at my calendar for the next few weeks and am not booked solid. Do I give it a shot or do a schlep to the store for a gift card? Decisions, decisions…

I have long admired a friends’s Kipling Baby Sweater. I will have to ask her how easy it is to knock out. I do have lots of baby yarn to use up.
