Husband left tonight. The house is (too) quiet. The dogs keep waiting for him to walk through the door. Our bed is too big. I miss him already.

Dear Husband,
Five years ago, we married. I was terrified, but knew that I loved you so much. Your smiling face on the stairs propelled me down the aisle and I instantly felt better when standing next to you.
Today, I’m not terrified. We have a wonderful life together. We’ve both grown up (a bit) and we appreciate each other more with each passing day. We’ve come a long way since Athens, GA and what a trip it has been.
I still feel instantly better when standing next to you. Knowing how deep your love for me is is such a source of strength. Thank you for being…
…my lover.
….my partner.
…my best friend.
…my comfort.
…my strength.
…you.
Love always,
Wifey
