I have a really nice desktop radio/CD player at work. It sounds awesome!! Unfortunately, I can only listen to DC area radio stations for a few hours a day before I want to pull my hair out. I usually bring the hand-held portable music player (HHPMP) with me, but didn’t this morning because I ran out of time to eject it from the ‘puter. This morning I asked husband if I could borrow some of the CDs he had with him while he was out of town that he listened to while working. He handed me the case and out the door I went.

Fast forward to about 10:00 AM today. I flip through the case and listen to one he had titled “Loud. Discordant” Um. Okay. Was interesting, but not my thing.

Flipped through again. “Chick Rock” Huh? What?! I started laughing and started listening.

Well, damn. Good stuff. I called husband to give him a (slight) hard time about the name, but also wanted to let him know that I like it. I’ll be recreating the playlist on the ‘puter at home so that I can put the list on my HHMP (and I’ll post it here too for those that care).
