random thoughts on a humid saturday in june
in no particular order:
- the boys alternate between driving me nuts and being the cutest things ever
- i love fresh organic salad greens
- destashing yarn is so much fun. i hope decluttering my closet is half as much fun (i’m being serious on this one)
- riding a bike reminds me of being 12. need to ride my new (to me) bike, Betty, more often
- having friends with similar interests (such as brunch, knitting, bourbon, baseball, cigars, movies, etc…) rocks
- having friends that are emotionally draining does not rock
- recognizing that i don’t need to work so hard to maintain the draining friendships is freeing
- my brain is finally starting to understand all of that odd geometry stuff i tried to teach it in 9th grade
- i want another tattoo, but am holding off for now
- husband comes home in 42 days
- aside from husband being gone (which sucks majorly), i’ve had so much fun this year
- the new job will rock
- i’m actually excited about dressing up for work again
