My Scarf Swap Partner Rocks!!!
These photos are not comprehensive, but instead meant to illustrate how awesome my scarf swap partner is.
Picture of me with scarf, button, and bag. The bag is filled with goodies. The scarf is fantastic. I wore it all day at work.
Close-up of button.
The two little ducks were part of a flock that I received. The large one with the lei has lived on my desk for a while.
I mailed my package today and didn’t take any pictures of it before it left my hands. I can’t wait to hear from her.
Scarf Swap: Approaching the Deadline
Both of my fiber arts groups met today and I was able to get a lot done on the scarf for the swap. This picture was taken at about 2:45 PM and I worked on it until 4:00 PM. Woo-hoo!!
(aren’t the scars on my left leg great? they’re from my fall at the dog park in early June)
As of 2:45, this is how much of the more muted yarn I had left.

And this is a picture of how much vibrant yarn was left.

I’m hoping to mail my package to my swap partner on Monday. I think she mailed mine on Friday or today. So excited!!!
—On a separate note, I feel the need to bring your attention to the wonderful upholstery that serves as a partial backdrop to the two pics of my yarn. I took these pictures with my phone at Murky Coffee in Clarendon. That place reminds me of my favorite coffee shop in Athens, GA (which unfortunately is no longer there :( )
Rockin’ Girl Blogger
To Christine for teaching me how to knit.
To Lotus Knits for making me wish I lived in Athens, Georgia.
To Yarn Abuse for wowing me with her productivity and snarkyness. Missed you at knitting group last time.
To SavingNine for her awesome scarf pattern that I’m making for a scarf swap.
Okay ladies. Pass it on.
