An Exercise in Futility….

Finishing one project makes me want to finish all of them, but I have lots of slogging to go on the outstanding items (Noni purse, Coachella, NEB). I decided the perfect answer would be to cast on sometime small(er). Behold…

The Ballband dishcloth from Mason-Dixon. I’m using a single color because that is what I have in the stash.

I also bought a ball winder this week and have had way too much fun. Here is a picture of the shelves that sit above our tee-vee.

This is also where I store my WIPs while working on them. As you can see, the NEB is on the far right.

While looking at this picture, I’m reminded of the stamps I bought at the post office the other day.

These are a nice complement to the yarn colors.

I’m such a nerd.

My new yarn from LotusKnits arrived at work today. This is great, but…

…I’m not at work today. My mom is in town and I’ve taken a few days off. Coworker A and Coworker B (with my permission) opened the box and admired the gorgeousness.

While waiting for mom to wake up this morning (and since Jake doesn’t like for me to sleep in) I worked on the NEB for a while.
I finished a few rows and put it back where it lives in my house. It wasn’t even 9:30 AM and I already felt like I had done something productive today.

Coworker and I ran an errand for her during lunch. While we were out, we hit the LYS that was close to work. She was picking up yarn for her mom and I was along for the ride. While there, I decided to buy the yarn for Coachella. I bought four balls/skeins of Berroco Suede Tri-Color. I’m so excited to start it!!!

Additionally, the yarn I purchased from Fearless Fibers arrived today. It is absolutely gorgeous!! I’ve posted pictures of it on Ravelry and am looking for the best pattern to use with it.

PS: The NEB is going into hibernation for a while. :)
