There’s a TV show…
…that I keep trying to “fire” from my roster of shows. You know the one. Thursday nights. The alphabet network. Whiny doctors sleeping with each other.
But every time I try to walk away, I get sucked back in. Why do I feel artificially close to fictional characters when I have a full life and wonderful friends in the real world?

Way back in the day, I wouldn’t have had much to say about this. But after all of the things that R. Kelly has done in the last few years, do his people really think this is a good idea?
Overheard at work today…
Person A: Did you know Haiti is a voo-doo country?
Person B: Really?!

I found out today that one of my friends at work was involved in this dialogue. It was originally relayed to me by a third person. Knowing the second party involved (since I already knew who Person A was) completely changed the tone of this.
