My weekend was fantastic. I didn’t get enough sleep. The Dawgs won. I had to break into my own house. I was reminded why I don’t drink redbull and vodka. I got to visit with some wonderful friends. The tattoo got some more work. The dogs and I took a few quality naps in bed. In all, good times. More details below (if you really care)…

Last Sunday

Okay. I’m finally ready to write about it. Last Sunday, I started my latest tattoo. When I got the bee in July, I had planned to have flowers put around it. I got to JinxProof at 1:00 PM last Sunday and Susan started working just before 2:00 PM. This picture was taken when she finished the outline, but before she started color.n527493518_248365_3662
We finished up about 5:15 PM and I headed home. Later that night, my upper back and right shoulder felt as though they had been through a meat grinder. Here we are a week later and it is itching so bad. That’s good because it means it’s healing, but it is still uncomfortable.

I go back next Sunday for more color work. My final appointment is on Friday, December 14. That happens to be the day before my company’s holiday party. I would love to be bold and wear a dress to the party that shows off the work, but doubt that I’ll have the guts to do so.

“Mornin’! I thought I’d update you on the rest of the shin-dig last night. Not long after y’all left, the DJ got going, the place got PACKED, and things were hopping. Nothing too crazy happened, I guess, but there were some pretty funny costumes, and a good time was definitely had by all! And “C” won the award for best costume — I think it was a $50 gift certificate to a liquor store. Bartender James showed up around 10 or 10:30, and was very disappointed that y’all had taken off. And, I assure you, his disappointment had NOTHING to do with the fact that I told him about “tattoo friend”’s costume…

I ended up leaving around 12:30 or so, and the crowd had thinned out a little, although there was still a pretty big group. I feel like crap this morning…not from all the beer (although I did drink a lot), but because my allergies are KILLING me! Stupid weather change…

Thanks for the update. I still think it is funny that you didn’t think I was dressed up last night. Guess biker chick isn’t that far off from how I do look sometimes. Oh well.

I feel like crap today too (allergies as well). I think the cold that has been chasing me for a couple of weeks finally caught up with me. I’ll have SS take pictures of Sunday (tattoo day) and will post them as soon as I can.
