Life on My Own Terms

I’ll be spending the evening getting ready for our vacation to Jamaica, but wanted to post before I left. I may have a friend or two post in my absence, but am not sure it will all work out. I’ve had a good couple of days off of work. On Friday, I roasted a chicken and we went out to dinner with a friend. The chicken was probably the best one I’ve roasted yet. The dis-assembly for storage was easy (pull the legs off and the thighs come with…etc) and I was able to get most of the meat off the carcass. Yesterday, we helped a friend move and I spent last night laughing with some of the best women in the world. We watched some awesomely bad movies and I got to use a friend’s spinning wheel. Today I’ve done some holiday shopping, we took Lucky to be boarded, had lunch, went book shopping, and here we are. Husband and I are thrilled to be going somewhere warm for a few days.
