Jerky label, showing ingredients and nutrition...

It’s Monday Mash-Up time – the day where you get a data dump from my brain.

  • I love hot weather and have been ridiculously happy about the 90+ degree temps for the last few days
  • Matching socks is a PITA. Especially when you’ve not matched them for weeks/months.
  • CorporateMonkey and I are going to the No Doubt show in June. I also ridiculously excited about that too.
  • Spinning yarn rocks and I’m so ready to pitch almost all of my yarn stash. If you know me in RL and are on Ravelry, check out my stash that’s for trade/sale. I’ll give you yarn for free…
  • I’m not going to MDSW this year and am really fine with it. I want a lamb burger, but will survive until the next festival.
  • Husband is still out of town and I’m eagerly awaiting his return this weekend. I love that man!!
    A basket of yarn
  • Our kitchen is going to cost us an arm and a leg despite getting a new labor quote. It sucks to spend that kind of dough, but it will be nice to have a wonderful kitchen.
  • I’m headed to Atlanta for the annual Cinco de Mayo party to be held on May 9. As my dad keeps saying “Nueve de Mayo” (I know I mispelled it. I was a German minor in college, not Spanish)
  • My hair’s finally long enough for a (wee) pony-tail. I danced around the house when I figured that out on Saturday.
  • My love of beef jerky is bizarre.
  • I need to go to bed.
  • My calves feel like they are on fire.
  • Bring on the swine flu.
